    The room we had was extremely pleasant on walls directly adjoining another bedroom and the staff was amiable! Good breakfast, best ever had, with sourdough toast, bacon and kippers. The service was good.

    Charming decor adds character throughout this place, especially in common areas where cozy seating invites you to relax. The convenient bar offers reasonably priced drinks. A sunny courtyard at the back provides a perfect spot to unwind.

    Parking can turn into a hassle, as the lot feels cramped, and finding a space nearby may take longer than expected. In-room comfort suffers. The beds slope and room temperatures soar, leading to a stifling atmosphere, even with a fan. Issues like unpleasant bathroom odors and water pooling next to the toilet hint at neglected maintenance that could use some attention.
